Snyder Teases The Batman Vs Superman Batmobile [Updated!]
May 13, 2014 by brennon
As most of you will probably know by now the latest Superman movie was just the start of a massive DC movie strain that looks to copy the success of Marvel. Batman Vs Superman is still a year or two off but Zack Snyder revealed some of the new Batmobile over on Twitter...
Obviously you can't see much from this but it has a more classic look than the 'tank' we had in the Nolan Batman films. As one site pointed out it has something of the Batman Forever design about it. It looks pretty cool as it is and we might see more of it tomorrow. If there is a new picture we'll update it!
The Batman Vs Superman film will see Ben Affleck take up the cowl and Henry Cavill return as Superman. According to Synder they've got the casting on target and Affleck is going to be playing an older and wiser Bruce Wayne.

And here is the new Batman from the front (is Affleck in there?) and the Batmobile...
All sounds fairly encouraging I'd say.
Hope he’s fully comp on it and not 3rd party fire and theft.
When was the last time Ben Affleck didn’t make a stinker? Even ‘Argo’ was shamefully inaccurate.
I’m a lot more worried about Zack Snyder and his utter inability to tell a story.
Good point.
“From the director of 300…” That right there was enough to prevent me from watching Man of Steel, and it’s enough to keep me from watching this. 300 was truly awful. Regardless of the real history, it was terrible. It couldn’t stand on its own even it weren’t based on a real historic event that was a thousand times more interesting than the festering script that somebody excreted for that movie (based on the festering comic that Miller excreted). It was a terribly written, terribly acted and terribly directed movie (with terribly choreographed action scenes). It was visually impressive, but… Read more »
Sucker Punch was worse, much worse. Without a step-by-step blueprint laid out for him as was the case in 300, he has no clue what to do. With Man of Steel, he explained the theme of the film in one sentence without ever actually exploring it, then gave an action sequence which destroyed Metropolis, presumably with casualties running into the hundreds of thousands all whilst Superman did nothing to try and prevent it, then Snyder tried to have us buy that Superman would be conflicted over killing Zod.
Just an awful, awful storyteller.
Ben ‘mahogany’ doesn’t fill me at all with confidence, I’ve enjoyed his films when he’s been the director but as an actor I find him a bit (lot) of a plank.
As for Snyder, I understand he’s quite popular but I’m not a fan of his style at all. 300 wasn’t bad, I guess but on the other hand… Sucker Punch, I just wish I hadn’t bothered.
Forgot to mention; BATMAN! I’ll be happy to go see it anyway, hoping that my gut instinct is proven very wrong though.
As a director Zack Snyder is very inconsistent. There are a lot of directors where you can predict how good their work will be; I know I’m going to enjoy a Danny Boyle film or a David Fincher or (Crystal Skulls aside) a Spielberg. I know I’m not going to enjoy anything with Michael Bay’s name attached to it. Snyder though, I would never prejudge. If it’s a Zack Snyder film it could be crap, it could be good. 300 gets worse each time I accidentally watch it, but I think that has more to do with the source material… Read more »
