The Xilos Gulper Lies In Wait Underground In Beyond The Gates of Antares
June 20, 2016 by deltagamegirl22
As if having to worry about the dangers above the ground wasn't enough, the Xilos Gulpers have added a new level of threat to the soldiers in Gates of Antares from Warlord Games.
Gulpers are amongst the largest Xilos arthropods, although it’s rather hard to tell how big they are because what is seen of them above ground is only the fore-portion of a much longer and bulkier burrowing creature.
Although the visible part of their segmented bodies appear worm-like, this is merely the front or ‘neck’ part of a complex arthropod, similar in its general anatomy to smaller Snappers.
Will you be adding some subterranean threats to your game table?

Looks silly to me to be honest. Paint job isn’t bad by any means but without a scale model beside it it’s hard to tell how big this model is
Shouldn’t it be called the Phillips gulper?
I looked at my electric razor and saw some similarities.
I guess it is sure to give a very close shave…
Yes, that was the thing that it reminded me of, the shape is just that, a razor.
Lmao.
I want this …… I think I am getting into this whole Xilos thing far too much…… and i have never wanted to have worms before 😉
Well that sure looks interesting.
I wonder if the image wasn’t inspired in part by the heads of tape worms and other annelids.

Looks like a giant scale-worm to me, pretty neat. Glad Gates of Antares is avoiding humanoid aliens so far.
looks great may be good for a Dr Who game?
