WW2 Half Track From The Plastic Soldier Company
September 22, 2011 by dracs
The Plastic Soldier Company have released a new 15mm scale German WW2 vehicle, the SdKfz 251 Ausf C Halftrack.
Each box will contain five of these vehicles which are perfectly suited to games such as Flames of War.
What are your thoughts on these? Will they be a good inclusion to your games? Incidently, can any of you WW2 buffs tell us any more about this vehicle and its uses in the war?
These look lovely… I’m just waiting for more British stuff to come out!
I’ve been very taken with their 15mm stuff, and this is an iconic vehicle that will see loads of use. Good value too 🙂
useful indeed and as you say good value. Id like to see actual kits however as the pics look more like renders to me.
PSC are my choice for 15mm (if i ever sell my 6 and 20mm stuff that is). UK based and good value plus nice guy and great kits
I would love to see an unboxing, and to compare these with other manufacturers, to see how well they can be mixed.
@killing4u … we’ll try to get some in, so that Darrell can give you his (badly informed) opinion on them. 😀
The historic use of this type of vehicle was to cram-pack them with nazis, so that when they drove onto the scene, Lee Marvin could shoot the bad guys in their dozens and steal it … oh, wait …
Bought some of these the other day. Lovely kit, goes together well, and nicely detailed. Bit plain on the inside, but at this scale you don’t see much of the inside anyway. Nice amount of stowage etc to make them look interesting, and you get a bunch of seated troops for the back. Looking forward to trying out some of their PzIVs to expand my DAK Panzer Company.
