Battle The Wrecking Crew In New Marvel: Champions Scenario
November 13, 2019 by brennon
Fantasy Flight Games has shown off the next Scenario Pack which is going to be coming to Marvel: Champions. After struggling against the Green Goblin you'll be able to take on The Wrecking Crew next year in 2020.
I must admit I had no idea who The Wrecking Crew were before I saw them pop up in this preview from Fantasy Flight Games and whilst I'm still unsure about how cool a band of villains are led by a man with a magic crowbar, I think the scenario they have laid out for us to take on sounds rather cool indeed.
This single scenario pack comes with four new characters for you to battle. Wrecker, Piledriver, Thunderball and Bulldozer will all be on the tabletop at the same time, causing chaos with each of their own unique schemes in play. You as the heroes will have to then deal with all of their nefarious schemes as they try and break out of prison and bring chaos to the streets.
Whilst this might seem like a lot to deal with at once the scenario doesn't shove all of them in your face at once. Each member of The Wrecking Crew will take turns at being the active villain, attacking you and bringing new surprise out of the deck to throw in your way. The active villain can change between game rounds and through card effects so you'll have to work out which villains to take down before they spring up and cause you some serious issues!
Each of the different villains has their own set of skills and items which they can bring into play. For example, Wrecker who is the leader of the crew comes with his magical crowbar (yep, that's a thing) and he can use this boost the scheming of his various villainous allies.
This is a really different scenario set for Marvel: Champions which provides a fun alternative to the standard set-up we've seen so far. I think this will be a really fun challenging encounter!
Are you tempted by this new pack?

Still pretty convinced the wrecking crew is a bit of a joke that got out of hand. Are they still around?
Still I love that sme villains from my favourite comic age are appearing in a game. I’m just hope other games follow suit.
Thanks for your article! I have read through some similar topics! However, your post has given me a very special impression, unlike other posts. I hope you continue to have valuable articles like this or more to share with everyone!
