New World War II Model Range Coming Soon From Iron Cross Miniatures
December 7, 2015 by brennon
Iron Cross Miniatures are going to be producing their own line of metal 28mm scale German Infantry for use in World War II games. You can see some of the models both unpainted and painted below giving you a taster of what's to come from them...
The idea is that the miniatures will be able to represent "Waffen-SS or Wehrmacht Panzergrenadier units from 1943 to 1945 in all European theatres". They will also not be going to Kickstarter but instead developing a whole range of models away from fundraisers which will be available very soon.
We can always do with more miniatures from different producers to help widen the scope of different troops we can pick up to make our forces different from others on the tabletop. Germans also seem to be a very popular army of choice for companies to begin with.
Maybe once Iron Cross get some German soldiers under their belt they will begin work on other armies from World War II as well.
What do you think of the previews we've got so far?

Nice no doubt.
But to be fair..there a rather many nice WWII ranges out there.
I think there’s better in 28mm.
I like to add unique figures to all my existing armies so I will be following progress with interest.
That’s the idea these days I believe. With so many ranges out on the market these days one can make a really unique army. Or focus on one company and add bits and pieces from the others.
The faces look really good and that has been an issue I have seen with so many models. I know the sculpting of faces is hard and that makes these a quality product. Personally this is a product I will watch with interest.
More Germans to paint up!
