The Wolves of the North expansion for A Game of Thrones: The Card Game 2nd Edition is now starting to appear in your friendly local hobby store. This expansion focuses in on the Starks of Winterfell but there are additional cards for the other factions too...

The Starks have had some interesting methods of play to explore recently with a very masochistic feel to their games. Believe it or not the Starks tend to die a lot but that can benefit you in different ways. They've also been decidedly lacking in Intrigue icons.

This new Catelyn Stark card is just one of the new options open to players. Interestingly she plays very much into the theme of power building from the deaths of those around her. She has a powerful ability which makes her a great way to gain power quickly. Just protect her from Put To The Sword and other board clearing effects.

The new House Tully Cards as a whole take the pace of the Starks up a notch and turn them into a bit of a rush deck.

The other factions all gets card worth adding to your decks. They are all non-loyal too so you can drop them into all manner of different decks to support a variety of playstyles.
