Wolsung’s Necrogolem Rises from the Kickstarter
February 23, 2015 by dracs
Over with Wolsung, a bunch of new minis have arrived that will be included in the Kickstarter pledges they are preparing to ship out to the world.
In the pile of minis above we can apparently find:
- Ven Rier Agents - Necrogolem Workshop
- Ven Rier Agents - Necrogolem
- Inventors Club - Filippo Benelli and Clockwork Toys
- Inventors Club - Mechanic Assistant
- Inventors Club - Galvanic Assistant
- Ash and Oak - Lady Dorothy Quimby
- Ash and Oak - Gardener
- Ash and Oak - Henry Bucklepunch
- Ash and Oak - The Cook and kitchen boy
The Necrogolem is, perhaps, one of the most exciting of these new miniatures, especially as the guys behind Wolsung have had it painted up for their catalogue.
This skull faced mech is one of the most menacing contraptions to have appeared in Wolsung, its backwards facing knees and hunched form making it look all together alien, especially when compared to some of the more humanoid or cartoony mechs of the Inventors.
Finally, three new printouts have also appeared, letting us get a better look at some of the new minis.
The two triad henchmen, of course, look fantastic and do seem to capture something of the conflict between tradition and development that characterises my favourite faction. However, the show is stolen by the Necrogolem rising from the workshop. It's an incredibly cinematic sculpt; you can imagine your warband stopped dead in their tracks as this thing rises out of the ground.
Are you waiting for your Wolsung pledge? Which of these new models are you looking forward to seeing more of?

Cool, and with a $600 pledge soon I’ll own them all!
Very nice models, hope my pledge will be sent soon. I’m waiting on some Ash&Oak, Ven Rier and my favorites The Scylla… Halfling mobsters, how cool can it be.
Those look really interesting.
