The Wolf Clan Takes Shape For Eureka’s Hawkmoon Collection
February 7, 2017 by brennon
Eureka Miniatures are expanding upon their Hawkmoon collection with some pre-orders for Salute and of course beyond. Here we have the Wolf Clan with a variety of different options at their disposal, looking dangerous indeed!
At the head of this force, we have the Command element which comes with a number of important figures you need in a regiment out on patrol or marching to war. I will say now that I really like the design of the wolf helmets they're all wearing!
From there the army grows in size including warriors with swords which you can see above as well as warriors swinging around rather larger swords for clearing out a mob of enemy warriors.
For those less fortunate to get themselves a sword, or indeed those who prefer a bit more skullduggery, we have some Wolf Clan warriors with clubs and axes.
We're seeing a lot of melee potential here but little in the way of ranged. Have no fear as the Wolf Clan also have at their disposal some soldiers with repeating crossbows to lay down some covering fire.
This is rather awesome and I'm genuinely impressed with the range as a whole by Alan Marsh. I think that even if you're not a fan of Hawkmoon these would make for a great collection of warriors to use as bad guys in your Dungeons & Dragons campaign or just as a skirmishing force of its own in another game world.
They even have some Slaves to chuck at the enemy when they feel like letting the cannon fodder wear you down.
It's neat to see the wolf theme carry over with these models too when you notice their footwear! Man, this range is getting better as we see the model count grow!
What do you think?

I really do like these miniatures. They look great. Even though the wolf helmets look great I’m trying to figure out how they see. Isn’t their vision reduced significantly? They can’t be looking through the eyes of the helmet as they are too high on up on their heads. As I said these are very good sculpts.
It’s Hawkmoon. It was weird anyway
As an interesting aside GW’s Chaos settings with 8 pointed star and mutating creatures etc was lifted near enough verbatim from the Hawkmoon and Stormbringer series
they could make a great elite unit for a army.
Wasn’t this the one with the black gem in the skull?
I don’t know why the word is being thrown around the facebook page, but ‘Clan’ from the books is incorrect. They are known as Beast Orders, so Order of the Wolf, Fox, Cat, Pig and so on and so forth. @zeker1966 They are from a series of books, and that is how they are looked at and described in them. Also, it is a post apocalyptic setting with sorcery and technology there and sometimes m mixed with high fantasy elements. What @torros says of Chaos is true. @zorg I agree, many uses: Frostgrave and Dragon Rampant to name a few,… Read more »
