WizKids Unleash Their Unpainted Kraken On D&D Tabletops
October 22, 2019 by brennon
WizKids has released a pretty big monster onto the scene that we'd not seen until today. Check out this Unpainted Kraken which could be the next fearsome foe your heroes face in campaigns of Dungeons & Dragons.
The set is pre-primed and ready to go with a lick of paint needed to turn it into the massive monster you've been waiting to spook your heroes with. The model is part regular plastic with the body and tentacles fashioned as such but there are also some see-through elements included to show splashing water and rising waves from its wake.
I love that the monster set also comes with a rowing boat as if that is going to keep you alive for very long. Maybe that is the boat that some survivors have dived into as your ship starts to crash beneath the waves, ripped apart by the Kraken's flailing limbs.
This seems like a neat kit to pick up and use as a proper statement piece on the tabletop!
What do you think of this mighty Kraken from WizKids?

From the stub picture or whatever it is called on the article on the side of the main page I thought it was going to look crap but this is veeeeery cool, I love it. Cthulhu ey!
It’s weird seeing a kraken that isn’t just a scaled-up giant squid, but this guy looks really cool.
love it.
would make a great Zeus in god games?
I’m not convinced the tentacles match the big lad in the middle. It may be the photo and they could easily do for other things though. Who doesn’t need a few tentacles for that dungeon well model eh?
Ooooooo!!!!!
The set is… AWESOME!!!!
