WizKids Give Form To Magic: The Gathering’s Creature
July 17, 2018 by dracs
This September, WizKids will be releasing a new range of models called Magic: The Gathering Creature Forge: Overwhelming Storm, turning the game's iconic tokens into miniatures.
There are set to be twenty-eight Creature Forge Tokens coming out as part of its inaugural release, including Dragons, Angels, Spiders, and Zombies, all measuring up to 55mm in height and sporting coloured bases to match their mana alignment.
Magic: The Gathering has some superb art and monsters to draw upon, so I think it's great to see them getting a three-dimensional representation.
They make for an eye-catching, collectable accessory to an already collectable game and a good way to represent the monsters you summon forth to fight on your behalf.
Do you have a favourite token creature you want to see?

For WK pre-paints those don’t look too bad.
Bear in mind those are the ‘painted’ renders so they are not indicative of the final quality of the product.
Can I get my money back if they are not that quality? :p
They do clarify that on their site…so alas no heh
Great looking painted figure’s hopefully the finished one’s will be that good.
This is a really cool idea – looks like they will be blind buy though which is a shame. If I’m buying tokens to go with some decks, I’d like to know I’m going to get… an unusual trait in a MTG player, I’ll grant you!
