Wizkids Is Bringing D&D’s Rock Paper Wizard To Life
August 24, 2016 by stvitusdancern
Everyone has played Rock Paper Scissors, but what if you turned it into a card game and gave it a Dungeons and Dragons background?
Well now Wizkids is bring out a new series of card games and the first theme set will be D&D themed called Rock Paper Wizard in which 3-6 players will pick cards and mimic the hand gestures on the cards and on the call of "Rock Paper Wizard" everyone will reveal their cards and cast the "spell" using the hand gesture.
The spells will have different effects on the players from moving players around the dungeon or how about grabbing the coins right from the grasp of another player. The first person to earn twenty five coins will win the game. This has the potential of being a pretty good party game if the mechanics are smooth enough. There will probably be plenty of laughs as well.
We will keep our eyes on this and update you as we get closer to the release date in January of 2017.

is this the follow up to the famous rock, paper, scissors, lizard, spock,?
I’m kind of surprised that anyone wants to pitch a game like it is a rock paper scissors variant.
