Wizards Give Us A Sneak Peek At Upcoming White Dragon For D&D
February 6, 2015 by brennon
Wizards of the Coast have shown off another of the big dragon miniatures coming out soon alongside Elemental Evil for Dungeons & Dragons. The new Icons of the Realm set will come with this impressive looking White Dragon inside it...
I like the detail that's gone into this one and the skin actually looks textured and not at all like existing miniatures we've seen. This one looks more in keeping with Bahamut and Tiamat in design which is neat. Some people have raised questions as to how big these all are and that we're not seeing some larger sets like we would have done in the past. I suppose it's to keep them in line with the Attack Wing releases.
What I'd like to see from Wizards of the Coast are some Dragons on foot. They don't all have to be flying!
Which dragon is your favourite?

That stand is quite a distraction. Does it need to be that robust? Begs the question: what are these mini’s made of? Are they that gooey plastic the pre-painted D&D figures were made from?

While this chap could still be used in D&D for example, a Dragon on foot might be more compatible?
@cpauls1 I think it is soft plastic.
The base is not from the game afaik, and will be a large square
Not sure that the rod is typical for the game either.
The poor thing does look rather like he has been impaled
