More Wizards Cast Their Illusions Over Frostgrave
April 20, 2015 by dracs
More of the magical spell slingers of the upcoming game Frostgrave have appeared from North Star Military Figures, bringing with them their own unique schools of wizardry.
Master of Illusion
The latest two wizards to step into the city are the mysterious Illusionist and the grand Thaumaturge.
Ironically, the Illusionist is perhaps the easiest to figure out game wise. His spells will leave his enemies chasing shadows as he summons images and confuses them with illusions. Which I think is great as that is precisely how I like to use magic in games.
The Thaumaturge is a little harder to figure out. He makes for a grand, Merlin-like figure and the term itself apparently has some religious connotations. This is a wizard that I think will definitely surprise us.
The Magician's Apprentice
This looks to be all the master magic casters, so now North Star have moved onto the apprentices.
The Enchanter's Apprentice is much younger than most of the other wizards we have seen and carries with him all the tools of the Enchanter's trade. From the look of him I would say he's a more close combat oriented magic user, which could make for some interesting tactical options.
Which wizard has been your favourite so far?
"His spells will leave his enemies chasing shadows as he summons images and confuses them with illusions."
The witchdoctor shaman obviously strikes a chord, but July? -_- jeez
Those are rather good.
