A Winged Warrior & Slippery Mage Previewed For Burrows & Badgers
September 13, 2023 by brennon
Building on the last preview and teaser that we had for the upcoming Burrows & Badgers Kickstarter, Oathsworn Miniatures has shown off two of their newest miniatures in full!
Long-Eared Owl // Burrows & Badgers
The first of the miniatures that we're seeing in full is the Long-eared Owl. This counts as a Large and a Raptor in your games and could work as a good ally for those seeking a hefty flying option in their warbands. I love the sculpting on the long ears (quite an integral part of the creature you could say!) and also the fluttering banner behind its head.

Imagine this fellow swooping down on you from on high and stabbing at you with that spear. I get the sense that this creature might be one of the guardians or scouts that keep an eye on the frontiers of the kingdom. I reckon you could do a fun thematic warband based around these scouting birds now with the range Oathsworn has on offer.
The second miniature is a lot smaller and comes in the form of a Great Crested Newt Mage.

This fellow will mark the first of the Newts to get added to the game of Burrows & Badgers and this fellow looks like a cheeky chappy! I could imagine them scampering around, sneaking into the best spot to then get that fireball heading in the right direction.

Another of the nice things about Burrows & Badgers and their miniatures range is that you find yourself facing all manner of different challenges. You could paint these up however you like but I also like that you can dive into a bit of an internet sleuthing as you try and match up your schemes to the real-life animals.
There's no word on when the Kickstarter will launch as of yet but it's nice to see more of these previews!
Will you be keeping an eye out for more from Burrows & Badgers?

Ooh that’s a wise move? Yes I know I’m leaving now.
This owl standard bearer is so good.
