A Wild Change Takes Over The Miniatures Of Clockwork Goblin
May 13, 2015 by brennon
Clockwork Goblin continue to preview some of their upcoming models that will make up their Weird World War line-up and today the treat comes in the form of not only a pair of Werewolves but also a Werebear too; all in 28mm...
Full Moon Fever
As you can see below they're coming along nicely and the work that Clockwork Goblin have been doing with these 3D sculpts always appears to come out looking fantastic in the end. I don't think that fur ever looks as good as it does when hand sculpted but that's not a massive problem...
I like that with most everything in this current range from Clockwork Goblin there is a sense of the 'cartoon' about the miniatures which I quite like. It makes the game seem a little less serious and gives it something different which sets it apart from other Weird World War ranges.
The bear, in my opinion, is fairly awesome and I think he's going to look amazing when painted up. I would have possibly had his head a little higher on his shoulders but maybe the angle of the screenshot isn't helping with the view.
What do you think?

I like the ripped look of these were-creatures, rather than having all that sinewy muscle covered up with fur. It makes them look more intimidating.
I’ve always wanted to build one and put a radio collar around its neck and a conservation ID tag on its ear…
And of course, a hypodermic tranquilizer dart hanging from its a**.
lol…. now I can’t get the image of them both being shot in the arse with a tranqualizer dart out of my head 😛 ha ha ha
the one standing up’s in pain, and the one in the gas mask is just gooing “oooooooohhhh” 😀 ha ha ha
I really like the look of these.
They look beefy and I prefer my beasts that way.
These look very good. Does the werebear keep salmon jerky and dried berry treats in those arm pouches?
