White Wolf Sculpt Up Fascinating Models For Avid Painters
November 27, 2019 by brennon
White Wolf Miniatures has been showing off two new miniatures for those who want to crack out the brushes and get stuck in painting some larger scale miniatures. First up we've got the model for Thor Ironfist, a 75mm sculpted by Juan Puerta.
This is a rather awesome looking Dwarf warrior who has been ranging the world looking for foes to smite. He is armed with a rather cruel axe and a selection of different accessories strapped to his belt. I love the addition of the horn, flask and skull plus the teddy bear which might belong to Thor's young'un perhaps? This warrior has clearly seen a lot of combat with the scars across his skull, something that you'd have to pick out as a painter.

As well as Thor we've also got Agedalf, Wizard Of The North which was also sculpted by Juan Puerta. This is a bust rather than a full model but still very intriguing for painters.
You could do some great stuff with this miniature once again. You've got lots of detail across his robes to pick out and that book would be absolutely awesome to paint (I do like painting a book). I think you could also work in some object source lighting around the gem which he appears to be powering up. Once you look at his hands you also see that Juan has managed to sculpt some great detail into his aged features as well so you should work that into your scheme too!
Will you be considering picking up either of these miniatures for your collection?

They look great.
Think of the light-sourcing one could do with the crystal or the book itself (ala the briefcase in Pulp Fiction).
