Westfalia Tease More Dark Eye Role-Playing Miniatures For Aventuria
July 11, 2018 by brennon
Westfalia has teased more of their upcoming miniatures from the world of Aventuria for The Dark Eye, known as Das Schwarze Auge in Germany where the role-playing game was birthed.
The range is going to focus on not only a collection of the well-known characters from the world but also the cultures and folk that wander alongside these heroes and villains too.
I must admit to being rather ill-educated on The Dark Eye and its role-playing world but it seems to be one that has quite the following and features some fascinating characters within its ranks. If nothing else this range will provide you with interesting characters to use beyond the realm of Aventuria and your own games.
I particularly like Larric on the left there, a proper travelling bard. The White Mage model is also very impressive and just the kind of model you want to represent your adventuring Wizard.
Look out for more from Westfalia in the near future as I'm sure we'll be seeing a lot of them!
What do you know of The Dark Eye?

The Dark Eye or “Das Schwarze Auge” what it is called in german is germanys D&D. We play this game since the 80s and the World of the Dark Eye is still evolving. It is a living and breathing world full of history. I knew the time when we fought the “War of the Wizards” (Krieg der Magier) in 1994, or the Borbarad Campaign which startet in the mid 80s till 2010. If you never ever looked into this game @brennon give it a try. You will love the Dwarfes in this world and all the other fluff. Especially now… Read more »
Seeing the miniatures and what @jocke says about the game I’m now interested in both the miniatures and the game. The miniatures look great.
The game itself is “just” an RPG without the use of miniatures, but the most players love their miniatures for their characters. Check it out, there are some nice YT videos who cover the game and its fluff.
Those are some great looking miniatures. One in right reminds me about Monty Python and the Holy Grail take on Merlin. I do wonder if there are any female sculpts on the way or are all miniatures for this going to be male.
females coming as well you can see one here https://www.beastsofwar.com/westfalia-miniatures/tease-new-miniatures-based-the-dark-eye/
Okay thanks.
I’ll have not-Tim-the-Enchanter at least. Thumbs up from me.
brilliant looking figures I remember their elf cavalry from an earlier post.
the elves are due end of July/August, Kawe has delayed it to make sure the other Kickstarters that were shipping go out first. Feral Elves for the win 😉
Really like these. They will make for proper characters in any D&D games. I already own way too much minis (and my Bones IV KS is still due for next january 😉 ) but, i will check out this KS as some characters are hard to find good minis for like Larric the bard for example!
