Wash and Cpt Mal Team Up Again for Con Man on IndieGoGo

Alan Tudyk has teamed up with his former Firefly co-star Nathan Fillion on IndieGoGo to bring out a comedy show all about the glories of nerd conventions. Prepare to tune in to Con Man!
Since appearing in Firefly, the excellent scifi show that was cancelled after 14 episodes (too soon), Alan Tudyk has been appearing on the convention circuit for the past thirteen years. Now he has written a comedy series based on his experiences and, together with Nathan Fillion, he has taken this to IndieGoGo.
Con Man follows the character Wray Nerely (Alan Tudyk), an actor who once played a pilot on a cult classic scifi show called Spectrum, which was unfortunately cancelled. While his co-star Jack Moore (Nathan Fillion) has gone on to super-star success, Wray now tours the convention circuit, coming across all manner of strange and bizarre characters. And that's not even the fans!
The show will apparently draw heavily on many of the actors' actual experiences of cons and will feature a star-studded cast of well known scifi actors, including people like Seth Green, Felicia Day and former Firefly co-star Gina Torres.
Given the talent behind this and the rich source of the subject matter, I think that this promises to be an incredibly funny series. It will, of course, catch the attention of any Firefly fan, but it should also appeal to anyone who has ever even stepped foot inside a scifi con. Personally, I can't wait to see this and given that it has already surpassed its funding and still rising fast, I think we are in for a treat.

I adore Firefly and Serenity.
I hope this soars like a leaf on the wind.
The show synopsis almost sounds like an April Fools joke. He’s filming and parodying (if that’s a word) his biography. Can’t wait to see it though. 🙂
Allready backed!
But Felicia Day though, ugh does she have to be in everything. I find her annoying and a poor actress.
Worth backing for the Indiegogo video alone!
Looks good, if you love Alan Tudyk watch the dollhouse series where he plays a rouge lunatic/assassin very well.
