Warploque Show Off A Swamp Dragon & A Stinky Home

Warploque Miniatures has been showing off some of the new miniatures that are in the works. Not content with just traditionally sculpting awesome miniatures, they are also working on some new 3D offerings for their Patreon next month too. We're talking traditional sculpting first though!

Swamp Wyvern // Warploque Miniatures

The first miniature we're looking at is this wonderful Swamp Dragon which has dragged itself out of the ooze and is looking to hunt down any unwary adventurers who accidentally stepped into its domain.

This creature looks early in the sculpting process but you can still see how this is going to look when completed. I love the selection of mushroom growths which are sprouting out of its back and I think they will be very fun to paint. I love that you could paint up the dragon in earthy tones and then throw in some glowing mushrooms on the top to give things a spot of colour.

"What Are You Doing In My Swamp?"

Keeping with this swampy theme we also have this Swamp Ogre House which may or may not have been inspired by a certain creature with many layers.

This looks like it would be a really fun little project to work on and the perfect start to a good narrative encounter. You could set up a scenario where the Albionnicans have sent a band of soldiers into the swamps to deal with this grumpy Ogre but he is not going quietly. Maybe their ruckus then wakes that sleeping Swamp Wyvern who ends up making things much worse for those poor soldiers?
