Warploque Show Off Their Stunning Arcane Dragon
December 6, 2014 by brennon
This one is quite ambitious and indeed might not even get made properly but what do you think of Warploque Miniatures' rather spiffing looking Arcane Dragon inspired by the look of Chinese drakes...
It's an amazing looking piece that is just packed full of detail. I don't usually like the look of these Chinese Dragons but I will make an exception in this case. Just look at how much work has been done on the face alone! That's before you look down it's body and see all the amazing scales.
Would you buy this if it was put into production?

Probably wouldn’t buy one, for the simple reason I have no use for a Chinese Dragon atm
Looking pretty good though.
That is one stunning chinese style dragon.
That is gorgeous
I like Chinese / Asian stile dragons. I would most definitely be inerested. As long as it is no where near the gigantic scale some dragons have been I would consider buying one. I like the quality of some of the big beasts but would have no place to keep it.
I like chinese style dragons, and have not seen a good one till now. This one I do like.
That style of dragon can be a hard one to nail. Too much and it looks like a parade piece, but give it some realism and just a touch of flair and it can be amazing. This one looks pretty well done, would love to see it once they finish.
This is looking great. I hope they do finish it as I would love to have one.
That is a sweet, sweet lookin’ mini! 🙂
Simply amazing ! 🙂
If only you could use this for the Oriental based fractions in Malifaux, maybe it could be incorporated as a statue in a Oriental themed board though ???
Very Dragonball…
looks fantastic 🙂
the pose has a wonderful sense of movement 🙂
I was considering doing a WHF empire army based in Cathy/Nippon and it would fit perfectly there as an imperial dragon
