Warploque Miniatures Prepare A Dwarf Hunt For Patreon
June 30, 2020 by brennon
Warploque Miniatures is preparing to go on a Dwarf Hunt with their new set of 3D Printable Files via Patreon. The new miniatures collection consists of a band of Fantasy Multi-Part Dwarves and their quarry, a massive Cockatrice-style beast!

As someone who does live Dwarves quite a bit, this is a fantastic little set. The miniatures come with a variety of weapon options including a selection of axes, swords and hammers plus a few bows for good measure. This looks like a classic set of Bugman's Rangers from The Old World. These Dwarves look like they have knees; which is great too!
In addition to this, I think one of the core things about sculpting Dwarves is getting their beards right and I think Warploque have managed to do that. They don't take over the miniatures but they are prominent and well detailed. With a good wash and some choice highlighting, they will draw the eye nicely.

I am never not going to be impressed by people sculpting up Dwarves. Whilst I don't have access to a 3D printer at home, I could see a lot of people having a bit of fun printing off this set and the Goblins from last month. They could work together nicely in their own little game I reckon.
Are you tempted to pick up this set of files from their Patreon this July?

These are cracking from start to finish and multi part so lots of options. The Cockatice is a great sculpt. I dived head first into the Arcworlde community and they are a fab bunch and really supportive of each other. It’s fun, laid back and there’s some great talent on show. The Patreon is a fantastic way to get involved and vote for what you want to see plus you get a juicy discount for buying all the lovely stuff which of course for me means I can buy even more than I originally planned and I’m never disappointed.
