Looks like Warlord have the game up for pre-order (WHAT? a new game and no kickstarter 😀 ). It’s £50 with 8 figs, an MDF “solar farm”, rules, cards and tokens

They list it as release in two-three weeks 🙂

Shame it isn’t Judge Dredd.
Warlord have the license for 2000AD overall, and Judge Dredd is generally considered to be the next project after Strontium Dog. All things being equal, it’s more than likely going to use the same game system – which was written by Andy Chambers and Gav Thorpe and look like it’ll be a lot of fun.
is any of that confirmed? I haven’t seen anything about who wrote the game system.
Andy mentions on his Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/theandychambers/) back in April that they’re both working on it and Gav has mentioned it in his newsletter.
I was racking my mind about what remained me of the back story of SD but it was (Killjoy’s) with the freelance bounty Hunter’s going after crims.
That was cool trailer.
oh hells yes!! Bubba adn his gang, The Styx Brothers….. Sculpts look great. Like they just stepped out of the pages of Carlos’ original panels. Loving this 🙂
Big,big fan of 2000AD and of Johnny and Wulf ( and the Gronk,my poor heartses 😀 ) in particular 😀 .To see Middenface,Durham and the Stix Brothers has my excitement levels for this heading off the charts.
I know right?! Grew up in Carlos Ezquerra’s art and John Wagner’s writing. So far Warlord seem to be doing a cracking job of bringing them to the tabletop. £140 for everything. SOLD!!
Is it un-pc to wish for a ” Hunting Hitler ” scenario coming out with the Stix Brothers ?
The £120 Wave 1 collection would appear to be calling my name….I wonder how my wallet feels about that ?
Looks very interesting can’t wait to see a Let’s Play (BOW team) and see/learn more about the rules.
