Warlord Tease The Coming Of Strontium Dog Later This Year
June 18, 2018 by brennon
Warlord Games has been teasing the coming of the new 2000 AD game, Strontium Dog. Taking the concept of gang warfare and campaign-style play, you'll be able to start checking out the game later this year.
As well as this picture that popped up online we also saw the teaser trailer (above) which gives you another quirky look into the world.
One of the things I am very much hoping for with this game is that we not only see some nice updated rules over what we saw from Judge Dredd, but also some new sculpts! It would be ace to see what new sculpting techniques could do for this quirky and frankly insane world.
Will you be keeping an eye on Strontium Dog?

Electro-nux for the win 😀 .
Very excited to see what they do for this!
Still remember when Johnny Alpha featured in Starlord (showing my age here). For some reason the 2000AD IPs have never really had a good run since the GW days (the Mongoose minis were a mixed bag of sculpting style, and casting quality). Warlord look over Judge Dredd from Mongoose, but haven’t remastered the minis. It going to be Warlord take on Strontium Dog from scratch and I’m eager to see what they do. I do hope they do a more comprehensive job with the rules (and especially perhaps with campaign books) than they did with Dr Who. But I think… Read more »
Starlord was a great mag and actually out sold 2000AD . Its only because the production quality was higher and therefore more expensive as it was aimed at an older age group that it didn’t survive and merged with 2000AD whose production costs were far smaller
I think Wargames Foundry did some nice SD figures
Zarjazzz, this could be great, will keep and eye on this one
