Warlord Tease Upcoming Core Paint Set For Beginners
January 7, 2019 by brennon
Warlord Games look to be giving folks a head start if they're diving into painting for the first time with a new Core Paint Set which will include plenty of the core paints, quick-shades and varnishes that you'll need when painting up miniatures.
It looks like the folks at Warlord Games might be working with the folks from Army Painter on this but I couldn't see anything for definite however Strong Tone Quick-Shade looks to be the giveaway here.
I think if I was just starting out and maybe working on some of the Hail Caesar range, in particular, this would be pretty useful. You're going to have to go beyond this for more specific colours to fit into World War II armies for example but this gives you a good base to work from.
What do you think of the set?

Looks a great set of basic paint’s
These paint sets really help new people get into the hobby of painting, with the caveat that the paints themselves are any good. Army Painter and Vallejo seem to put the best sets together so with Battlefront going back to Vallejo and it looks like Warlord is going with AP we should see some awesome sets this year.
