Warlord Power Up The Heavy Combat Drone For Antares
March 18, 2016 by brennon
Beyond The Gates Of Antares fans were treated to a little sneak peek this week as to what's happening when it comes to Heavy Combat Drones. This image popped up from Warlord Games showing off this dangerous piece of technology...
Now this is a deadly looking piece of technology that is bristling with guns. It has the main turret(s) on the top as well as some on side sponsons and attached to the hull on the front. It also looks like a fairly hefty piece being around the size of this chaps hand.
Will you be running one of these in your games?

That does look really good.
nice.
I like this size of model coming out. GoA has yet to grab me but I’m hopeful it will.
Wow… adult sci-fi. I’ll have one of those.
Very nice!
That is a Concord Heavy Wardrone, and its design fits in extremely well alongside the other Concord infantry and drone units. On the tabletop it functions essentially as a high tech, artificially intelligent equivalent of a hovering tank, bringing exceptional resilience and heavy firepower to the party.
from what I have seen from Warlord’s website and the official GoA facebook page, we will soon be seeing units of a similar weight and battlefield role fro the game other factions as well.
this is SO going to be my 15mm tank…
Very nice – I’m not a huge fan of the GoA system, but I could see this for a number of other games…
So far this and the big beast thing are the best models they have made. I hope they keep this up.
Nice piece, but still waiting for the plastic Boromites.
Very nice !
