That would really be a breakthru.
That’s a lot of stuff in that box.
Yet painfully inacurate.
We all know Sharpe won the war (we’ve all seen the films)
but he is nowhere to be found.
It’s revisionist is what this is.
Niiice, maybe I’ll order me some Veteran Grenadiers or whatever they are called 🙂
would love to see BoW pick this up, just to give Napoleonics a try, handful of plastic kits to unbox and to fill the armies out a bit and BLAM we have you all converted to Napoleonics 😛 though maybe not John, as John will in all likelihood be dead after having been forced to paint it all haha
Well isn’t that wargamer LAW to at some point have both a Grande Armée and a legion of Romans? It’s like having Space Marines. Everyone has to have at least two squads of space marines with compatible transport. IT’S THE LAW.
I would love to tackle this project. I think Warren and I could put on one great battle. I think we could get John to come over with some artillery pieces and Caissons and tell hiM their the first tanks and give him a cool hat to wear.
that would be great to see! ‘morning Sir John, new bicorne? ah! and Lady Gianna, how go’s it? Splendid!!’ Good thing with Nap’s is that you could lend your hand to War of 1812 (there are metals out there but use a Belgic shako on plastic British Peninsula War infantry and you have American troops…) Beasts of War could invade the ‘states haha
Follow it up with an roman civil war attrition campaign where the winner get to tally and consolidate the calendar with a dedicated month like a Ganuary or a Gune or perhaps a Webuary or Woctober.
