Warlord Brings Home The Orphan Eagles For Black Powder

Warlord Games with the help of Winged Hussar Publishing has compiled a history of the Polish troops that fought for Napoleon during the years of 1796 to 1815 with the hopes of reclaiming their past glory for their home country.
In this book, Orphan Eagles, you get over 175 illustrations mostly in colour on the uniforms and weapons used by these troops. It also goes into detail on the battles that these soldiers were a part of up to and including Waterloo.
Here is an interesting fact, the publisher / author of this book Vincent Rospond translates historical information from Polish into English to write these books.
He does quite an extensive search for historical documents to insure you are getting the most accurate information. If you are a Napoleonic Wars fan, then this book should definitely be in your library.
Do you research your armies?

I might get this because I’m interested in the history of the Polish. My father emigrated to Canada after WWII and I’ve always been fascinated with not only his history but the history of his home country.
You’d probably want to start with something more general then, like the “God’s Playground” by Norman Davies (which is slightly biased to the polish arguably).
