Warhammer World Live Streaming From The Warlords Event
August 29, 2016 by brennon
Games Workshop really are embracing this new fangled internet thing it seems as they announced that they are going to be Live Streaming from The Warlords event on the 10th & 11th of September at Warhammer World.
The event will cover two days and see you playing out six games of Age of Sigmar against random opponents using the General's Handbook and their matched play system from it. There will also be the usual highjinks too around Bugman's Bar for those involved.
Live Streaming
The big news however was that Warhammer TV are going to be streaming the event on Facebook, Youtube and Twitch.
They are going to be interviewing the gamers about their experience and how they've been going, filling you in on updates throughout the day, looking at painted armies and showing them off...and more besides I'm sure.
Warhammer TV have been doing some great stuff over on their Youtube Channel with daily painting tips and more so it will be interesting to see if they can continue to produce awesome content live too.
Will you be going to the event or tuning in?

I’ve got to say I’m enjoying alot of what GW are doing now days, looks like they’ve a real turn around and think it’s great
great things happening at gw.
now they are imbrassing the digital age ,I wonder if we will see them on beasts of war?
or do you think because they have Warhammer tv that is less likely to happen now?
I think they should do both.
sounds like a great watch none the less.
there must be a lot of excited people out there for this.
I think you bring up a good idea there, for example having Duncan on one of their weekenders talking about some future releases would do a lot for the community I think.
@emptynessisform i cant see them stepping outside of the GW walled garden anytime soon, as good as it would be in terms of community engagement, they like to retain absolute creative control over all aspects of their brand. I think it would be more likely to happen if they start doing seminars at non GW events i.e. have a talk at gencon or something like that, at least then they would be acknowledging that there are events outside of warhammer fest or the events at WHW, and that they cant retain absolute control and engage with others. The best comparison… Read more »
they have the staff and resources .seems like a no brainer for everyone involved.
Warhammer tv is for people already involved, beasts of war offer a wider audience . when you consider the amount of money and time spent on advertising .
just a couple of times a year to show off their new realises and talk about events they have lined up. they don’t have to break the news here , the boys would come up with a way of making it a different experience so it works for both parties.
