Wargames Illustrated Talking Congo Soon

Wargames Illustrated have previewed a look at what's coming soon in Issue 342 concerning Congo. They are going to be giving us a first look at the rules for Studio Tomahawk...
We saw some early previews of this a few months ago and it's going to be interesting to see where things go with this game. It could set things up for some grand adventures in the jungle and on the Savannah.
As you can see they are going through a lot of the mechanics of the game and exploring how it works. Interestingly there's seemingly a lot different from the likes of SAGA.

I will read the review with interest. This is a period and setting that interests me greatly, but I was not impressed with the frankly racist way in which the subject was treated in the previews that were available last year. (I don’t mean by BoW, I mean that the material Studio Tomahawk released was pretty questionable.) I know there is always the potential for people to take offence at turning war into a game, and even more so when you’re looking at a particularly controversial aspect of a war or faction.
