Wargames Atlantic Unleash A Horde Of Zombies For Halloween!
October 31, 2024 by brennon
Wargames Atlantic has unleashed a surprise set of plastic miniatures for Halloween! You can get your hands on a horde of Zombies that can suit different horror eras.
Zombies // Wargames Atlantic
This set comes with thirty hard-plastic zombies and heads that cover different periods of Historical Horror on the tabletop.
- Ancient Rome
- Dark Ages
- Viking/Norman Period
- Renaissance
- 18th Century and Pirates
- Napoleonic French and British
- Cowboys
- WW1 and WW2 British, Germans, and French
- Modern Heads - Police, Fire, Construction, Civilians
The set also comes with a bunch of regular zombie heads as well and all of the extra arms in the set can also be used to zombify other Historical miniatures that you might have in your collection. Perfect for the likes of The Silver Bayonet.

You could also use these zombies to represent a Renaissance Fair gone very, very wrong. I like that the majority of the heads come with their jaws hanging loose, fallen off after munching too many brains. This looks like a great modular set that would be perfect for a myriad of different games.
Are you going to be picking up these Zombies?
"You could also use these zombies to represent a Renaissance Fair gone very, very wrong..."
Look at all this awesome hat options! Zombies for everyone, for every time!
A zombie for every occasion. This is such a good idea.
What a great idea. Zombies for Napoleonics TSB, Kings of War, WWs and ancients! That is way.
Also, with some patience, you could convert them as Draugr for the Varangur in ‘Kings of War’. Just use the Viking/Norman head options and add Norse shields and weapons and presto – Draugr galore. If you want to go the extra mile you could model some beards and hair! They would look sweet.
Patience? more like for $70 not counting glue and paint since just from the preview its pretty clear you could take the heads and put them on the old Gripping Beast armored Viking set, boom Draugr galore.
Nice! But, no sci fi zombies?
Still, I could use this set for a lot of genres, lots of kit bash potential.
Mantic do a nice sci fi zombie set if you’re looking for some.
Would love to see a size comparison with other zombies on the market (Mantic’s Walking Dead, Kings of War, Warlord’s old Project Z, etc.)
Are these not the same as Warlord’s range, which were a re-box of them?
No, as someone who owns some of the Warlord/Wargames Factory zombies, while warlord’s range was itself a rebox of the WGF range (the male set got a already planned re-sculpt by the time Warlord was selling them) those where all clearly modern zombies and a little fresher looking than Wargame Atlantic’s preorder zeds which look like proper necromancer risen zombies in ragged clothing.
Peachy just dropped a Youtube video looking at and painting these. Worth checking out on his Peachy Tips channel!
What a brilliant idea! Yay multiple zombie options!
Already have a box on pre-order!
Silver Bayonet eat your heart(and brains) out!!!!!
Wargames Atlantic – officially leading the way 👍
