Wargames Atlantic Tease Something Small But Suitably Epic!

Wargames Atlantic recently posted up an interesting teaser on their website for something small but very big. It looks like they are going to be stepping into the world of small-scale wargaming with "epic" miniatures.
Small Scale Miniatures // Wargames Atlantic
This has been something that folks have been asking Wargames Atlantic for for a while. I think Lloyd in particular is going to be very happy but only if they manage to nail the scale for him of course. There's not much else out there at the moment concerning what they're planning but we can make some guesses from the teaser.
This set of miniatures looks an awful lot like a selection of Samurai troops. You've got some telltale weapons in there including those iconic spears and bows. I would guess that we're going to be getting plenty of Samurai and Ashigary for small-scale Samurai warfare.
What do you think of the teaser and what would you like to see them develop?
"This set of miniatures looks an awful lot like a selection of Samurai troops..."
Epic. That’s all.
Great news
13.5 or Heroic 10mm? Or something very different
I remember asking them on Facebook a few years ago if they would consider doing small scale models and I was openly mocked by staff in the comments for even suggesting the idea. Very unprofessional. Now everyone else is doing it they want to jump on the bandwagon.
That sucks @dunham99
I’m a (big) fan of smaller scale minis, always have been. At one point I was a catalogue model painter for GHQ Models, so I’ve always enjoyed the feel of not having a tank parkade on the table, or in the case of infantry type figures, it makes the table actually look impressive.
If these are indeed Samurai, it will be interesting.
Agincourt next…. real potential to fill a gap
