Wargames Atlantic Tease What’s Next For Grand Battle Scale Range
July 9, 2024 by brennon
Wargames Atlantic have been previewing what's next for their Grand Battle Scale range which went up for pre-order a couple of weeks ago. The Samurai collection in 10mm expands with the addition of a Command frame for your Samurai and Ashigaru.

Please bear in mind that these images have been "blown up" and enhanced a bit so you can actually see them. The pictures from Wargames Atlantic were very small! Don't take these as an indicator of the final quality of the sets.
Rob Macfarlane has designed a bunch of options for enhancing both your Ashigaru and Samurai units and there will be a lot more on the final frames once they have been through the development process. This is a great way to fill in the gaps in the existing Samurai range and make it even easier for you to build two or more clans out of just a couple of boxes.
Wargames Atlantic are also asking what you'd like to see added to the Samurai range over on their blog. Make sure to get involved!
Head To Azincourt!
As well as development on the Samurai range, Wargames Atlantic are also developing 10mm Grand Battle Scale miniatures for Azincourt/Agincourt.

This range will focus on troops fighting out the epic battles between the English and French during the Medieval period. You'll have English Longbowmen, mounted French Knights, Genoese Crossbowmen, Men-At-Arms, Foot Knights and more. All of this will be in 10mm once again and plastic.

There is still more development to do on this range but it will most likely come in strips of five, three, two and as single 10mm figures so you build ranked-up units and skirmishers. I am very excited about this, especially as a fan of the ol' longbowman.
The third range is also in development (do Wargames Atlantic ever sleep?) and will come with a full set of wargaming rules.
Are you excited to see the 10mm Azincourt range in full?

Nice can see this range doing well
Get behind me, little plastic Satan!
I’m sure these would be great for Lion Rampant.
Found this interesting blog for those that bought the Samurai etc and wondering about colours
