Wargames Atlantic Working On New 28mm Plastic Trolls Kit!

Wargames Atlantic continues to surprise and impress! They are working on a new plastic kit for their Classic Fantasy range that gets big and burly! Some monstrous Trolls are stomping into battle with an array of weapons to hand.

There hasn't been much in the way of posing done for these miniatures yet but it does show off what kind of kits we're going to be getting. There is already a range of different bodies and head options for you to tinker with. I like the helmets in particular which give me very Middle-earth/Mordor vibes.
It also looks like we're going to be getting a selection of fun weapons to play with too. You've got cruel-looking axes and "daggers" plus some pretty insane weapons that could be used in one or two hands.
These would be a neat option for those wanting to build up a band of Trolls (or Ogres) for their mass battle Fantasy wargames and something more skirmishy. I think the design of them would work particularly well with the aesthetic of Oathmark.
Are you going to be snapping these up when they release?

I like the look of these, even in the current posing. Does anyone know how many will come in the box?
I’m sure @avernos might have some idea of what could fit on a sprue – perhaps 10?
we won’t know unitl they get ready for tooling and work out what is going on the sprue, they may have to cut back on options or include another smaller sprue to make everything available. My guess would be 10 in a box. But it could as easily be just the 5
A fabulous looking armoured troll unit to add to the army’s.
Naah I don’t need any … oh wait a minute. Damn you WA, stop making things to take my money
I can see them in Middle Earth indeed… To me they would do great for elite/advanced ogres in ether Pathfinder or 5th edition!
Maybe one sprue…?
They should have waited and announced this on 1st April 😀
Looking great so far, could be very nice in Middle Earth games.
