Alien Bugs // Wargames Atlantic
The folks at Wargames Atlantic are open to all sorts of ideas for these Alien Bugs but there are a few criteria that you'll need to keep in mind. For example, whilst they are big nasty beasts with bladed arms, they might also come with plasma/laser guns integrated into their bodies.
Additionally, whilst they are used on the Death Fields Circuit as foes they are also found throughout the galaxy. So, you might want to consider them as a deadly galactic threat. Finally, there is also an egg stage before their bug-ling and adult stage so keep that in mind when thinking up names and background.

All you need to do is check out the form HERE and submit your entry. You'll need to think up a name and some background lore for them and if you win, you will get ten (yes, ten!) boxes of the blighters!

This sounds like a great competition to get stuck into. It's creative and you could help build on the background and lore of the Sci-Fi universe Wargames Atlantic is crafting. Oh, and get some awesome 28mm miniatures in the process.
I reckon they could be called something like "The Reave" as I see them as some all-consuming force that floods systems in the galaxy and utterly eradicates all life.
What do you think?

Spiky bois – from a gamer now questioning his Tyranid purchases for Quarantine 37 oh well.
i get you! i got myself some Aliens Warrior from GF9 for Quarantine 37!
Ooh. Do you get enough variety from GF9?
Not too much, 12 minis, 3 diffrent poses.
I haven’t glued them yet, so i can’t tell you if i’ll be able to mod them a bit…
I think that’s what steered me to 40k.
Ooh welcome to planet Murder.Death.Kill.your remains will be dealt with shortly.fantastic looking killer bugs.
Nice looking bug!
Really like Wargames Atlantic as a company, they always involve the community and it goes even further this time! I think i’ll take a shot at this, i’ll be thinking about it… I’ll probably get this in their friday email too!
‘Crabbine’ which is better than Big Howling Spiky Things
This would be perfect for both Five Parsecs and Stargrave. I think I’ll be getting a box when they come out.
They need more legs, six would be better.
Really like them, lots of kit bashing opportunities
These are going in my Deadzone Nameless list as alternates. They could also be Prador from Neal Asher’s Polity books.
