Wargame Exclusive Let Loose Two Imperial Assassins
February 5, 2019 by brennon
Wargame Exclusive has shared two new miniatures for those looking to add alternative assassins into the games set amongst the ruins of the grimdark future. The first of these is the Blank Assassin.
I would assume it's called the Blank Assassin because by the time you've seen it you're already dead and she's left you as a blank slate. Whilst it might seem like the intent here was to create a miniature with very little clothing on I actually think it's meant to be a bodysuit as there's no belly button I can see and there are folds where the legs and back arch.
I think that immediately makes the model much more of an interesting prospect for buyers.
We also have the Destroyer Assassin who is leaping through the ruins of some bombed out Imperial world looking for traitors to kill.
Once again whilst the initial impression is that of a very scantily clad lady she's actually got a bodysuit on under that armour. It's still not exceptionally protective but she is an assassin so she's not going to be in the main line of fire anytime soon if she can help it.
This is a big improvement on some of the models Wargame Exclusive have added into the mix in the past and I could see a fair few folks picking these up to add into the force.
One thing that stands out for me with the sculpts is the fact that they're doing something. It means that during games you're going to get a sense of them truly going about their business.
What do you think of this pair?

The anti-foot-on-rock crowd are going to be horrified by these. ?
Don’t worry! They get a pass from us, since they have both feet on rocks. X_X
That is very nice.
great looking figures.
Female Culexus and Eversor Assassins, respectively.
I quite like the Eversor. Something is a bit strange about the “Blank”, but overall they’re decent alternatives.
They’re a little less impressive to me through the simple fact that GW’s current assassin models are awesome. These alternate minis are always more mind-blowing when they replace some dated GW concept that hasn’t had an update in ages.
I really like them, I think they’re some good alternates for the ‘others’ on the market
