Wargame Exclusive Release New Battlesuit Brawler
January 31, 2019 by cassn
Wargame Exclusive have released images of their latest miniature, and it is 100%, definitely, completely not-a-Tau.
Hmmmm. Yup. This totally original battlesuit is ready to defend your troops in any warzone. Over any terrain. In any copyright infringement battle.
Outside of this guy being that kid who came to school in a Nike top with the tick backward, the posing is really good on this model. Much like the indecision we all face when picking our daily outfit, he clearly couldn't choose a weapon this morning, so decided to bring them all. Probably a good call.
I like the rocky base on this battlesuit, it enables the miniature to look like he should be looming over his enemies. Maybe I'll stop criticizing the suit...
Wargame Exclusive will be releasing this miniature later this week, and have also hinted at further interesting releases on the horizon. You can keep up-to-date through their website.
Would you like this brawler in your battle?

Wow, that is good. I will have to pick this up!
Bingo
That does look very nice.

Opinions and all but I prefer the GW coldstar / enforcer / farsight models although if people prefer the aesthetics of these suits, and want to maintain that look across the entire army with this commander, then needless to say there’s nothing wrong with that. Really wish they’d not be drawing too much attention wrt their inspiration because there’s some good… Read more »
Its the new starscream from the next Transformer’s film ?
I’m using Tau as the alien adversaries in my Traveller adventure (a near future combat team project), and have been madly picking up WE models for commanders and characters, as I’m afraid these will go away soon. I like their females as well, although they need some armour to look respectable. I’m using them as psionics, so as to make it plausible that they can’t wear too much armour or it interferes with the process. Weak, but I’m going with it. I’m also slotting them into pilot and space navy positions. For those who are interested, Zealot Miniatures makes female… Read more »
I would be very grateful if someone could give me a size comparison with GW Tau, is this model the same size as a crisis battlesuit, commander, broadside or riptide?
Thanks
