Walk Across Tabletop Art’s Next Meteoric Surface Bases
January 27, 2015 by dracs
Tabletop Art have released a picture of the latest WiP's of their upcoming round lipped Meteoric Surface bases.
While these bases keep to the style of their previously released meteor bases, Tabletop Art have mixed the designs up slightly so we are getting some different variants in this new set.
These new round lipped variants will make these meteor surface bases usable in different game systems. The rough stone and craters of Tabletop Art's latest creations makes these perfect for scifi settings, or even as volcanic wastes in a fantasy world. Their simple and effective, although the stones might make basing minis on them a little challenging.
Do you like using scenery bases, or do you prefer to make your own?

These would be good for a underwater game just paint the rocks bright colours for coral.
Hmm I have used both precast and homemade basing, and I am planning to do both in the future. However these seem a bit simple to my mind to justify going for a cast base – nothing that is not fairly easily achievable.
