A new miniature is available to pre-order for those building a W’adrhŭn army in Para Bellum Wargames' Fantasy game, Conquest. The Matriarch Queen is ready to kick ass and take names.

Most female members of W’adrhŭn society are considered to be life-giving goddesses and so when a Matriarch Queen rises through the ranks, not only are they venerated but they have usually earned their place through many, many battles.

Wadrhun Matriarch Queen #1 - Conquest

W’adrhŭn Matriarch Queen // Conquest

Peerless warriors and leaders, the Matriarch Queen is not a character that you want to underestimate in battle. Maybe you could find her joining a particular unit in your army as a leader figure, using her tactical knowledge to great effect across the battlefield.

She could also take a place amongst your First Blood warband as a brutal warrior if you so desired. I do like that with the two ways to play Conquest, you get to use your characters in different ways. Want a more tactical experience? Play the mass battle game. Want to play as individual and epic heroes, dive in and play First Blood.

I should also note that, as with the rest of the W’adrhŭn range, I think Para Bellum have outdone themselves with the sculpting. I don't think there is a miniature I don't like in this army so far. This might be bad for my wallet.

What do you make of the W’adrhŭn Matriarch Queen?
