V&V Miniatures Release Their New 28mm Balearic Slingers

V&V Miniatures has released a new 28mm resin set for those looking to add firepower to their Ancient armies in their Historical wargames. Lloyd might appreciate these miniatures as well as this set features some wonderfully detailed Balearic Slingers!

This set comes with four resin Balearic Slingers in the detail that we've come to expect from the folks at V&V Miniatures. You've got slingers in different poses with some getting their slings ready to unleash on the enemy whilst others are reloading and getting ready to take down their foes!

The little rips and tears on their tunics are a great addition and you could either go with plain clothes or work in some freehand if you are so inclined. I do think that you could end up doing some nice dirt and grime on these fellows as well, skirmishing their way along the fringes of the battlefield.

The slingers also have all sorts of fun weapons and such on their belts. You've got a few extra slings as well as a short blade and shield for when things get a little sticky. You're never going to be wanting for missiles when you're a slinger but you might need to drag out the knife or short sword and start stabbing if the enemy gets too close.
