V&V Miniatures Take Their New Pilgrims On Crusade

V&V Miniatures has been adding to their range of Crusaders heading out into the Holy Land at the behest of The Pope. Not all of them are warriors however and quite a few are simply Pilgrims.

This new set of resin Pilgrims gives you a selection of poor and ragged soldiers to throw into the mix when you're battling it out on the tabletop. I quite like the idea of using them as angry characters that your Crusaders have to try and protect even though they are running off trying to get stuck into the action.

I think it would make for an awesome skirmish scenario where your Crusaders are wandering through the streets of some Middle-eastern city trying to protect the faithful as the locals pour from the alleyways, looking to bring the invaders down.

The quality of the sculpts that V&V Miniatures produce are all pretty top notch and usually packed with detail as you can see here in the folds of their tunics and cloaks.
