V&V Miniatures Muster Commanders For A Crusade
August 1, 2018 by brennon
V&V Miniatures has just released their new Commander options for use in 28mm Crusades. Come and take a peek...
The set comes with four different resin miniatures for you to use as European warriors who have headed East on Crusades or indeed are simply fighting for control of their own Kingdoms back home.
The fellow with the fancy helmet seems to be a logical choice for your leader alongside a Banner Bearer and two more loyal retainers. Hopefully, we'll see mounted versions of these four warriors as well for those who want a few more options.
What do you make of this new band of Crusaders?

Great work! I like all the details and you can even see the eyes under the helmet. The chainmail looks very realistic. The poses are a bit static but that’s ok for a command section. I didn’t know the company yet but had a look at their website and their other models look great as well. There are also nice options for fantasy skirmishes.
The look great with the classic bucket helmets.
Magic Helmet!
I like them a lot.
They look really cool. Only comment would be that it seems weird that the banner bearer holds both flag and shield in the same hand. Seems kind of heavy and must be awkward when moving as well.
Those are really nice.
Looking really great. I just find the left helmet a bit big in size. Can’t wait to see some mounted knights and Archers/Crossbowmen with them as well!
