V&V Miniatures Join Harald & The Varangian Palace Guard

V&V Miniatures has been teasing a rather fun looking miniature (or set of miniatures) soon. Here we have their first preview for Harald and The Varangian Palace Guard.

This is a rather stylish looking miniature here, adorned in all sorts of goodies as you peer at his accessories. He has his iconic helmet clasped to his belt, sword strapped to the side and large shield at the ready. This could well be a younger Harald Hardrada, posing on the battlefield in heroic style.

The team at V&V Miniatures have done some great work in the past and I think that I could see this selection of Varangians popping up in a lot of Dark Age armies from that corner of the world.
