V&V Miniatures Release Their Grizzled Crusader Crossbowmen
March 24, 2020 by brennon
Pinning their enemies down with the thud and twang of crossbow bolts, V&V Miniatures has now released their Crusader Crossbowmen who will be manning the walls of forts and cities across The Holy Land.
The set gives you eight of these warriors to add into your collection with some of them firing and others reloading their crossbows. These were some rather dastardly weapons which could punch through armour with ease if fired at the right distance. As with everything from V&V miniatures its all nicely dynamic and unique so you won't feel like you're seeing dupes amongst your army when you snap these up.
All I can think of now is getting an army of Crusaders ready to defend the walls of Jerusalem against the forces of Saladin. These are going to be fun to paint up as well, working with whites, creams, reds and a bit of brown here and there for the leather. Then, you need to cake them all in dirt and grime to show them slogging through the sands of the Middle-East!
What do you make of these Crossbowmen?
