V&V Miniatures Preview More Burly Dark Age Irish Warriors
September 3, 2020 by brennon
V&V Miniatures are continuing to build upon their Dark Age collection with more Dark Age Irish landing soon. This preview popped up on their Facebook Page showing off a rather burly looking Irish Warrior about to hack someone in two.
Dark Age Irish Preview // V&V Miniatures
This old boy seems like a seriously awesome addition to a Dark Age force, leading the way at the head of a band of elite warriors who are going to smash through the enemy shieldwall and start making mincemeat of the foe. I really like the mix of both chainmail here and also the cloth around their chest and waist as I think it helps to mark them as Gaelic warriors; different from your standard Saxons and such.
You can get a better look at the miniature over on Facebook but I think this gives you a solid look at what's coming next from V&V Miniatures. As with the rest of their range, the models will be available in resin and come in around the 28mm scale for use in games like SAGA.
Are you a Dark Age Irish wargamer?

Love it! The more Irish the better
That one is looking good.
Give it a few more years for MPB to set in and Gerry has his own miniature 😀
Looks more like Justin on his last day joinering? Lol
He’s a happy looking chap.
