V&V Miniatures Preview Charging Crusader Knights
April 15, 2020 by brennon
V&V Miniatures are continuing with the theme of releasing Crusader-era models as they teased a new set of Mounted Knights over on Facebook this week.
The new miniatures already look like they are packed with the kind of detail we've come to expect from V&V. I like the battle damage present on the shield and the work put into what armour we can see here. The set also has these Knights in full charge which is really great for creating dynamic battlefields.
I do like seeing Knights trotting about but a unit in a wargame should look like it's in the midst of the action and this pair (at least) have it in spades. I am very much looking forward to what else the team at V&V Miniatures have lined up for this. I would assume we're going to get a unit of four models which would be a good fit for the likes of SAGA and such.
What do you make of these Crusading Knights? They wouldn't have to be relegated to the realm of History either and could easily be ported over into a Fantasy setting too.
Let me know your thoughts!

Very nice, they have some great miniatures, particularly like their Norman and Anglo Saxon warlords
These look very cool. Very natural the way the cloth shapes
Ooh nice.
These would make great Bretonnians for those of us still playing Warhammer Fantasy.
