V&V Miniatures’ Commanders Marshal Their Ancient Greek Armies

V&V Miniatures have an awesome new set of 28mm miniatures for use in your Historical wargames like SAGA. A band of Greek Commanders are walking through the ranks of their army, ready to lead them into battle.

The Greek Command set comes with a leader figure who holds their sword to the sky, flanked by two trusted bodyguards with their heavy shields and spears. You could imagine them flanking their commander as the melee swirls around them. He needs that space to bellow his orders.

The set also comes with a younger follow blowing on the pipes. I would imagine that he is there to alert soldiers to changes in the order of battle and not just to serenade the commander with some calming music. A nice set with plenty of detail captured in the resin material used for the miniatures.
