V&V Release Carthaginian & Medieval English Infantry
February 9, 2022 by brennon
V&V Miniatures has been released some new Ancient and Medieval models for you to drop into your Historical wargames. We'll start in the depths of history with some of the new Carthaginian Infantry to use against the Romans.
Carthaginian Infantry // V&V Miniatures
This gives you a core set of soldiers for you to use in your games. I would imagine that these would be very useful in a lot of the skirmish games you can dive into rather than something mass battle. You can use some bigger plastic sets for that! These would work alongside smaller skirmishing forces who are looking to tackle Roman patrols that have wandered too far into your territory.
Medieval English Infantry
Stepping further forward in time, we also have some English Infantry for those playing out some Medieval skirmishes.

This gives you some rather grizzled-looking English soldiers who have been tasked with taking to the muddy battlefields of France. They have been designed for The Hundred Years' War and show off soldiers in the midst of a scrap. I really like all the poses here which are perfect for a very personalised clash.
I absolutely love the detail that has gone into their faces and their armour. I reckon these would be an absolute joy to paint, especially if you went all-in on the idea of weathering and bloody-ing them up.
Are you going to be picking these up for your games?

The spear warriors look good.
These releases are both outside of my favoured eras, but I could certainly see picking them up eventually.
V&V makes the best resin historical miniatures I’ve ever painted, hands down. I’ve got almost their complete Dark Age range (just missing the Irish and a couple of the more recent Viking releases), and the detail on all of them is simply astounding. They really know how to pack in the character!
