The UK Games Expo has now opened up the voting for their 2021 Awards. The shortlists have been compiled and you can have your say on who you think should claim themselves a badge of honour!
Awards 2021 - VOTE HERE // UK Games Expo
All you have to do is sign up to the UK Games Expo site and then click away on the link above. There are three options in each of the categories covering such things as roleplaying and card game expansions through to miniatures ranges, rules and children's games.
Stargrave is in the mix which is pretty awesome to see and Unmatched makes an appearance too! Imperium has even managed to take two of the top slots for the best card game. Slightly odd as they're the same game but they are very good!
I would imagine Gerry will be getting everyone to vote for Vaesen as the best roleplaying game though!
Have you had your say yet?

Some odd choices in the shortlists, with products that have not even been released to retail yet, so not sure how valid some of the voting will be.
I agree, so very odd choices.
Is 5 parsecs from home on the list…. its bloody great… also maybe a special award for “best F**C UP” go`s to GW and cursed city… giggles..
Do companies pay to go on the voting list as I’m sure there have been better figures than the Stargrave and Dystopia figures
Oh there both in the best miniatures games category as well. There’s a surprise
“Each year our UKGE Awards Judges around the country play, replay, assess, discuss and finally decide on the shortlisted games as best in their category.”
eek the slight embarrassment when most of what is there I have never heard of.
Don’t worry – I get that when Essen SPIELE announce their awards. I feel bad that I’ve not heard of these reportedly amazing board and card games
We’ll theres a list of things I dont really know of to go checkout.
Stargrave gets my vote in both the miniatures categories though I’m a bit disapointed with the other options, dystopian wars is nice but is it really a contender for best miniatures? Theres been so much amazing stuff over the last year it feels quite tame and there’s defo been more then 2 rulesets?

i wish they had a wee description of the game to help voting.
In which case you have probably not played it and therefore why would you vote for it. My guess is that most people who vote for these things have never played the games they vote for, and instead just vote for the thing that they have heard of.
true.
