Dive Into Volume 4 Of Indie Wargaming Magazine BLASTER!
March 17, 2022 by brennon
The awesome indie wargaming magazine, BLASTER, is now available over on DriveThruRPG. Volume 4 comes with two new and exclusive standalone games and three expansions to existing wargames.
BLASTER: Volume 4
Ash Barker, Joseph McGuire, Sean Sutter, Mike Hutchinson and Joseph McCullough have joined forces again.
The cover art showcases one of the standalone games featured in the magazine, BRUTL! Tank Arena. BRUTL! is a beer and pretzels style game using simple rules to smash tanks into each other on the tabletop. Who wouldn't want to play around with all sorts of different kitbashed tanks and blow each other up?
The second standalone game is Deathship One from McCullough. This is a solo and/or cooperative game where you play as a band of warriors fighting their way through an alien deathtrap. It has been designed to not take up too much room on the tabletop and takes place through five rooms. These switch up each time you play but you'll also play all five, if you are able to survive that is.
As well as the two new games, you've also got expansions for Last Days, Sludge War and Gaslands: Refuelled. Last Days: Legends introduces three new miniatures to your apocalyptic survival game, each with miniatures from Temple Of The West.
Sludge Nations builds on the core rules available in Volume 3 of BLASTER. It explores the nations and archetypes found in this dying world and gives you some tips and ideas for getting started in your games.
Finally, we have Gaslands: Legacy (Part II). Earth has been evicted from Mars and so you need to build a totally illegal vehicle and get out of the factory fast. This offers up new Legacy Gaslands rules and more scenarios to finish things off from Volume 3.
If you've not had a look at the BLASTER magazine then I recommend you give it a go. Each Volume comes packed with fun and interesting things to play on the tabletop.
Are you going to be checking this Volume out?

That’s the choke for the engine?
I would say it’s that thing helping you park…
Lol possibly.
Ooh tanks an kit bashing tanks yes please. my inner Ork says WWAAAaaagggghhhh.
Blaster is great, I have the first three issues. It’s pdf only currently on drivethru rpg due to some issues they said they had with print on demand. They say it should be available again soon.
I know last week the print on demand version was around £35 which is a lot more than the earlier issues for the same 122 pages, my guess is that was the issue.
Uoooh i love the cover, Someone knows the artist name???
