The Volucrid Scuttle Into Breachstorm With New Core Set

Breachstorm can now play host to the terrible hordes of the Volucrids that are going to be scuttling across battlefields looking to bring you down under an avalanche of claws. There is a new Core Set for you to pick up for the Volucrid Host but you can also get your hands on separate releases too.

Volucrid Host Core Set // Breachstorm

These 28mm Sci-Fi miniatures are produced in resin and should make all fans of Starship Troopers (but with an affinity to the bugs) quite happy indeed. The Core Set comes with a 100-point team for use in Breachstorm.

This includes Mar, Volgox Alpha which is only available in this set alongside a Volgox Howler, two Spitters, three Crawlers, three Fireflies and six Epulex Grubs.

Rules for Breachstorm can be checked out online HERE. If these miniatures have caught your eye then you could go and check out the rules to see if the game speaks to you. There is already a Two-Player Starter Set available for the game as well if the Volucrids don't take your fancy.

If you'd liked the look of what Breachstorm was doing but didn't want to go down the digital route then now you've got the option to go physical. It's nice to be able to get this additional faction into the mix, hopefully shaking up the status quo on your Breachstorm battlefields.

Make sure to go and check out the Shop for Breachstorm where you can get your hands on individual miniatures as well as the Core Set. This means that if you like a particular unit, you can easily throw another one into the mix.
